Karo Tak born in Holland in 1979, sees herself as a citizen of the planet, traveling the world for her art, but is predominantly based between Sydney and Melbourne. She has been trained in Holland but traveled the world to train, work and perform. Karo has worked as an actress, host, theatre-maker, dancer, performer, director, producer, stage and event manager but has focused on physical theatre, site specific theatre installations and writing in the last 8 years, she is currently touring with Power Plant a huge site specific sound, light and multi media art installation project who have been part of Sydney Festival, the Hong Kong Arts Festival and 10 days on the island Hobart, she performed her theatre art installation project: Lightvisions in Hong Kong (at Woofer Ten ART SPACE) and is currently writing CHICKPOWER a self-help book for female artists all over the world, to encourage and inspire women to make and create work and stand for what they do.
Karo created Gener8or because she wants to explore her strengths and that of other performers, to offer a wide range of theatre based knowledge to emerging artists. She wants to connect with other performers and companies in the industry and make them connect with each other. She is and will be creating contemporary theatre-pieces, specialized training programs for industry professionals in theatre and she provides an artist- networking consultancy

Anna and Karo met in Adelaide in 2009, an instant connection was made, both personally and professionally. Anna has an amazing, multi faceted background, like Karo used to wearing lots of different hats, she is a highly skilled and trained professional, extremely talented and passionate about the performance arts. Anna is an amazingly, multi-skilled professional, she works as a performer, tour-manager, production manager, lighting designer, business advisor, marketing coordinator/manager, arts administrator and event manager. Between 2005 and 2009 Anna worked as the administrator and marketing coordinator at Polyglot Puppet Theatre, she worked for The Garden of Unearthly Delights as part of Adelaide Fringe, she was a lighting designer for Sssstttt at La Mama, was a traffic and camping coordinator for Meridith Music Festival, event staff at High Vibes Festivals in Nortcote and several other minor community festivals, she is also a web administrator, qualified writer and has experience in arts administration and book keeping. Anna is a super woman.
Anna and Karo have similar experiences in the art field but Anna is also a business woman, an art politician, she has helped Gener8or with her business vision, her advice and tips have strongly contributed to where Gener8or is today. Anna co-directed and performed for Gener8ors Carnival Extravaganza December 2009, she is the brains behind Gener8or, the strategic mind, the amazing spirit that carries this company, the engine that keeps the company running, Anna has a Bachelor of Arts degree, a major in sociology and minors in drama, politics and philosophy.
